First off the Mets are not an underdog, they had the best record in the NL hence the homefield advantage. Both teams pitching is about equal it will come down to the bats and the Mets lineup seems to be unstoppable with the Carlos's Wright Reyes and the rest of them. I'm taking the Mets.

I'm still thinking St. Louis, assuming that Pujols can start hitting the ball...he has a pulled hammy but he's been cold even before that. If they make it to the world series then they will need his bat, big time. I only wish Isringhausen was back...we need a stopper BAD. Go redbirds.

You look at the mets lineup and the first thing you say, WOW! But the yanks lost and they had arguablly the greatest lineup ever and they lost. The cars will win because they have better pitching. Pitching wins championships.
