Obviously Hitler surpasses Bush many times over in his crimes against humanity. However, in reponse to a comparison between Hitler and Bush in an another question, I stumbled upon some striking similiarities. Here they are:

1. They both rose to power as a result of a legitimate democratic elective process. Then both used the power endowed to them by the will of the people to curtail the civil liberties of their constituency on the basis national security and global hegemony.

2. Both Hitler and Bush believe they have a divine mandate to be in power and impose their will on other nations.

3. They both use scapegoats such as Jews (For Hitler) and Islamic terror (For Bush) to mask the domestic issues that were/are affecting their nations.

4. They both attained a level of success that one would not expect considering that they were, from a personal and academic perspective, failures.

5. They both are under the impression that their political and governmental paradigm can be applied to any country, regardless of the culture differences in the aforesaid country they intend on dominating.

6. They both used tragedy to galvanize their bickering citizenry around them. Hitler had the devastation of War World I, and Bush had 9/11.

7. Each man deftly uses propaganda outfits to elicit complicity from the masses. Hitler had Josef Goebbels and the film “Triumph of the Will” and Bush has Karl Rove and Fox News.

8. Both men use/used allusions to historical military events to inspire the unthinking public behind them. Hitler used to invoke the Germanic dynasties of old, and Bush makes reference to the “axis” of evil, which is evocative of World War II, and he uses terms like “Crusade” harkening Christians back to a time when military power, the state, and Christianity had a symbiotic relationship.

9. Both men are prone to fits of rage when contradicted.

10. Both men in the final analysis failed in their political endeavors. Hitler, as history attested did fail. Bush, as the future will soon reveal, will also fail.

Two things are clear:

#1 -- Hitler killed millions of people. President Bush probably has SAVED millions of people from terrorist attacks by what he has done, maybe including youself.

#2 -- As a propagandist, you're no match for Josef Goebbels, so why don't you just drop the childish act?.

What do i think of? i think of you're a infantile dolt. **edit** you're way out of your league in politics my delusional buddy. all your comparisons are the two disingenuous, strictly opinion, erroneous, or a mix of the three. Hitler got here into power whilst the economic device could desire to no longer available get any worse. there replaced into nowhere to pass aside from up. and how he "fixed" the economic device is he have been given human beings working and the economic device shifting by using organizing great public works projects (great highways) and different projects. His militia build up added jobs in industry. in the fast run any baby-kisser with power can do a similar subject. All that's needed is to open the government spending spigot and pump money into the economic device. subject is that it quite is not a protracted-term answer and could finally deliver approximately financial injury using inflation and financial inefficiencies. there have been books written that define the Hitler/German financial subject in 1939. They point out that the German economic device replaced into overheating using government spending. government gold reserves have been close to exhausted. Germany replaced into usually compelled to triumph over its buddies beginning with Austria with a view to maintain the approach going. Had they no longer, Hitler could have been compelled to diminish decrease back on his militia funds and take a extra tolerant place in remote places affairs. so which you spot my dimwitted buddy? Hitler's freedom from ethics and morality quickly pumped up the economic device, in basic terms to make certain his u . s . a . finally fall to rubble. This being after 10's of thousands and thousands of deaths international of direction, Hitler fullyyt responsible. i think of it is a reasonably a great distinction in character whilst positioned next to Bush. Your next 2 "factors" are strictly YOUR OPINION. Your final element is inept because of the fact Bush replaced into additionally elected into workplace by using way of the will of the persons. Now, what do you think of? i watch for pay attention your oh so wonderful and in intensity enter. LMAO

I think the responses to your question are all pretty accurate, with the exception of li li's answer. She obviously knows nothing about Hitler, or she would not have made those statements about him.
