I am a junior, and have not played soccer since playing indoor before moving to maine. I want to play soccer next year, and not be the only senior on a team with all underclassmen, and play club (or better yet varsity) soccer in college.
What can I do to make this goal a reality?
Thanks!

Practice everytime you can, juggle the ball around, stretch when you're watching TV or doing homework, stay in shape by running and by eating good food. No more Cheetos! JK, you can eat SOME junk food, but not ALL junk food. Choose fruit instead of candy and water instead of soda. Ask other people who play soccer to help you train or at least give you good advice on what to work on the most. Make sure you have to necessary things to play. (i.e. pumped soccer balls, sturdy shin guards, good shoes, etc.) Get books about soccer, skills and tricks you can try, and try the Internet. You can also ask the coach for help, and that will not only improve your skills, but also show the coach you're dedicated! Keep your grades up so you CAN try out. Keep something in your room or where you'll see it, like a Post-It that says "Want varsity? Then get to work!" Hope this helps! :D

Just try out and do your best. If you are good enough you will play varsity. Just as long as you got the right attitude.

YES! If they work hard and are really good, they will make the varsity team.
