Maybe marginally better, from what I've heard. But look at it this way, Microsoft didn't force a DVD technology on its buyers that hasn't been proven. Remember betamax anyone? Also there isn't awhole lot coming out for ps3 that isn't already or will be coming to the 360.

In short, No. People like to act like both systems are dramatically different, but the fact is that they are very, very similar to each other. I own a 360, but I may get a PS3 sometime down the road when it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. That said, I am totally happy with my 360 and really don't need anything else.
Verdict: They are pretty darn equal in performance and graphics, so it really doesn't matter who likes what more. It will come down to the games and the online service. .

No,every body knows that the graphics card is just a cheap immitation of the one that the 360 is currently using, nobody actually thinks that it will be better. You are paying only for the built in wireless Internet that you have to pay 2ce as much as you do for X-box live. Pluss the games are not half as good and there is no real gamerscore which makes the games worth playing, plus the 360 has a better saving system, and is more compatible with your computer and you can charge... and listen to songs on your Ipod through the usb port.

no the xbox 360 is a lot better than the ps3 the 360 can do a lot more and can take a lot more punishment than a ps3 and the 360 is 400 and the ps3 is 500 TAKE MUCH

the 360 is a proper console.
the ps3 will just be a rip off like all other sony consoles. and as for the built in bluray player, the 360 has got an hddvd drive coming out for it this year and it will still work out cheaper than the ridiculous prices that sony charge!

Hell yes is gonna have better games better hd graphic free online play the abilitie to upload music and videos free like a file sharing program. Also u can play PS2 PS1 games u getting a bigger hard drive then xbox 360 and it has a built in web browser. PS3 is gonna make the Xbox 360 look sh!t.

hell yeah!!!!!! the PS3 may cost 600$ but its way better than XBox 360. and besides the cooolest games are gonna be in PS3 (Kingdom Hearts 3 and Resident Evil outbreak file #3)

Peformance-wise, it's marginally better. But what counts, of course, are the games, and since the PS3 isn't out yet you just can't tell.

NOO!! besides i heard the ps3 is just a hoxe and plays the same kinda discs but on a dif level... basically its juat another ps2 that plays dif games
