Use bacteria from the world around you...just swab your feet or something and put it on a petri dish with some nutrient and you'll have a decent germ culture in roughly a week.

Stick your finger up your a**, then smear it on some bread and eat it. That would be a good project, what E-Coli does to you when you eat it.
