Geo. W. Bvsh is not as thick as he appears. He does have a problem, in that fewer Americans seem to support him now than was the case a mere six months or a year ago. He got elected for a second term because as is often the case in the USA, when the people were told 'we're at war' they stayed with their Commander in Chief - the President. They may now have doubts about that decision and vote instead for a Democrat administration. We'll all know soon anyway. Keep watching the screens.

No I don't believe that they do but then us in the little 'ole UK of Great Britain and Northern Ireland don't seem to have any more intelligence or have been brain washed to the same extent. I find it hard to believe that the great British public don't have the intelligence to see through Blair's rhetoric - Labour couldn't run a fish'n'chip shop effectively so I don't feel able to criticise Bush or the American people any more.

It is sad to say, but I believe some Americans just can't or won't believe that someone who they voted for would lie. People will need to face the fact that he and others did lie and still tell half truths. And they will do so until we stop them in Nov. This is not a Dem or rep Thing for me. Clean sweep is what needs to happen. I am a Dem< but i am voting to clean house and that means new Dem coming to give us a fresh start and get us back where America needs to be. I try not to listen when Bush speaks because most of the time he makes no sense. The other times he answer around a question but never answer it. It is time for us to take back our country from all the Bushes in the world and get people like C. Rice out also. She is just there to repeat the lies he has told us. Think god that i never voted for him

I wouldn't go as far as to say that Americans are dim-witted - merely just as deluded as us Brits when it comes to voting based on manifestos.
All politicians lie, backstab, cheat and corrupt to secure votes. Just look a little closer to home and the wonderous promises that Blair made.
Name me a politician that has EVER stuck to their manifesto and actually succeeded in their endeavours to make their country a better place whilst being the voice of the people and looking out for our best interests?
I can't think of one.
Still, we invest our time, energy and votes on these people - in the vague hope that the successor will be better than the last, when invariably they are just as bad, if not worse.
Just be thankful that Bush isn't the minister for education.

Polls tend to show that about 33% of asked Americans think that Bush is a good president. The number varies depending on the price of oil. About 25% would support him no matter what the price of oil is.
This is a percentage of the people who are registered to vote and who do not hang up when a pollster calls.
Only about 70% of the electorate register to vote and only about 75% of those actually vote. So all in all only about half of the population vote. So, in the last election, he received the support of about 26% of the American population, whereas Kerry received the support of about 24%.
All in all, it means that the vast majority of Americans, about 74% do not want Bush to be their president and about 76% did not want Kerry to be their president. And 50% did not want either.

According the most of the latest polls, 3 out of 10 Americans do still believe Bush's rhetoric, (and I think using the term "rhetoric" is a VERY charitable description of most of Bush's statements).
I vote for dim-witted, as opposed to brainwashed.

Well, according to polls that have been pretty consistent for the last several years, we should be thankful that only 30-35% of the country have been brainwashed. Even then I wonder how nearly a 100,000,000 could be so blind but apparently they are. I think stupid just relates to stupid, and that's what this administration relies on. On top of which, the media is completely playing right into their hands and refuses to hold their feet to the fire, so they get away with all the BS they try to feed us.

Well, I think the fact that Americans have allowed this idiot to fiddle his way into the White House not once, but twice AND get away with it shows that America is the biggest lunatic asylum in the world.
Enough said!

Americans will believe anything, they are not the sharpest pencil in the box, maybe a couple of slates short of a roof.
Go to Google Video and search for Terrorstorm to see how they have been taken in.
