Could be something as 'simple' as cystitis (urinary tract infection) or kidney problems. Strongly suggest you go to see your doctor asap.

Ah My Brother had this problem only a couple of week's ago and yes it was very worrying and thought he was going to miss my nieces wedding, anyway he went straight to casualty and done all sort of tests and said it could be kidney stones because it was painfull when he went to the toilet but he is ok now he passed a small stone if it's not that it could be a water infection either way i would get it checked out by your doctor good luck

A lot of things - probably minor - but you can't take that risk. see your doctor and the doctor will probably send you straight to hospital. i'd have a bag packed - they may hang on to you for a day or two. but not usually if you feel OK. They will check for infection first. Take a urine sample wth you to the hospital - just a small sample - I think a sample is about 50 ml 10 teaspoon fulls.

n medicine, hematuria (or "haematuria") is the presence of blood in the urine. It is a sign of a large number of diseases of the kidneys and the urinary tract, ranging from trivial to lethal.
Common causes of macroscopic hematuria (i.e. blood visible in the urine) include:
* Benign familial hematuria
* Urinary Schistosomiasis (caused by Schistosoma haematobium) - a major cause for heamturia in many African and Middle-Eastern countries;
* IgA nephropathy ("Berger's disease") - occurs during viral infections in predisposed patients;
* Kidney stones (or bladder stones, now a rare disease);
* Bladder cancer;
* Renal cell carcinoma - occasionally presents with bleeding;
* Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria - a rare disease where hemoglobin of hemolysed cells is passed into the urine.
* Urinary tract infection with some bacterial species including strains of UPEC and Staphylococcus saprophyticus
* Sickle cell trait can precipitate large amounts of red blood cell discharge, but only a small number of individuals endure this problem
* Arteriovenous malformation of the kidney (rare, but may impress like renal cell carcinoma on scans as both are highly vascular)

Very few of us answering you are doctors. I certainly am not one. Nothing can make you feel better quicker than knowing you are with people who know exactly how to make you well again so you don't have to ask a question like this one. Love yourself enough to lean right into it and seek help. You will be so relieved when you are among people who know what they are doing to make you well once again. - Chris.

Obviously, you don't want to go to a Doctor, so Besides what was all ready mentioned by everyone else, S.T.D.'s can cause that.
And Cancer.
Want to see a doctor now?
