I'm a 17 year-old guy, and I want to get these sandals soon:

Are these considered "old people" sandals and would look weird on a college student? I really like them, but I don't want other people to think it looks weird or something

If you wear a tie and flip up your collar they would be okay.

People running around with 100 infected face piercings; 65 year old women in mini skirts; bad and weird plastic surgery choices; 350 lb people wearing thongs at the beach; guys with their pants hanging down over their butts and you're concerned about looking "weird" in sandals????

If anyone has the nerve to say the sandals look like old people sandals or say that the sandals look weird or something, just laugh and keep walking.

Besides, as long as you like them, wear them. I think they look good, but what do I know. I'm not a 17 year old girl any more.

They look just like most of the sandals I saw on all ages this summer. My son has a pair very similar. Why do you care what people think about sandals anyway. Hopefully most people have better things to do with their time than judge your shoes.

Yeah, somewhat "previous" for you being youthful- they do look extra like a 50 365 days previous kind of sandal... yet once you like them and that they are mushy, who cares. yet you will no longer be able to placed on heels, so i assume it fairly is the only kind of deal... So in that know, yeah, they are high-quality.

I wouldn't consider them "old people," sandals, but I don't think I'd see any normal teen wearing them. Those are the type of shoes people wear and get made fun of, but if no one notices you anways it really shouldn't matter.

As long as you don't wear them with Dark Socks and Bermuda Shorts, you're golden!!

My son who's seventeen has a similar pair. A lot of guys your age wear them around here.

I don't think they are old people sandals. I think they are better than flip flops.

No, I know a lot of college students who wear them up in the NW and in CA.

And of course, we all know that's where the real fashion is. ^__^

They're fine.

Nope. Not nessasarily, just don't worry about what people think, if you want them, buy them. Who cares if somebody doesn't like your shoes!
