many times and maby ways, usually by lying to me or cheating on me.

My last guy broke my heart with a lie. In essence; everything about him was a lie or cornerstone from a false pretense. Our relationship was a hoax or sorts. Perhaps I was equally to blame by not having my eyes wide-opened at the initial stage of the relationship. However; thus the old cliche: "Love is blind". My heart has mended, and now I reflect on the entire situations as a learning experience. I'm much wiser, stronger; but never bitter.

My heart was broken by an ex that refused to put his part into the relationship. Although he claimed he loved me, he left 90% of the chores to me. I worked more hours, had a longer commute, and really needed him to help make it a 50/50 relationship. So my answer is that he did nothing to break my heart--literally, he did nothing and showed no signs or willingness to ever meet me half way on any of our issues.

My heart was broken this summer, by a young woman who lied to me for over a year. I ended the friendship with her about 2 weeks ago, so i'm still very heartbroken.

I no longer believe anyone could care for me that way. I'm going to grow old and die alone.
My 2 reassons.
A crush of five years never went out with me and was a snob
A second crush lied to my facesaying," I have a girlfriend," then he and his stupid girlfriends laughed in my face. I knew he was lying b/c he didn't look me in the eye when he said it.
Only creepy weridos ever like me.

I was talking on the phone to a long term boyfriend, one of my kittens was attacked by a dog and killed right in front of me... it happened super fast and of course I freaked and dropped the phone to try to help... @%%hole got mad that I "hung up on him". I am better off with out a monster like that, but after dating for a year I was shocked. I lost my virginity to this cold hearted jerk.

I made a big mistake by falling for a straight guy. He didn't intentionally break my heart because he never knew, but when I decided I needed time away from him it hurt.

Rejection and I'm not talking relationship or sex wise. Just rejection from one who had no right to reject another..especially when they are far from being innocent of transgressions themself.......poor judgment that has caused a chain reaction for hurt among many in the chain of events but mostly for themself and the one who cares the most.......me

My first boyfriend broke up with me over email and never spoke to me again.
Everything was great, and then, out of the blue, the email, said he was depressed. His depression lead him to another guy soon enough afterwards, though.

long distance relationship (seldom work out)....closet case who lied, was critical, wouldn't commit, and pushed me away after she became "friends" with someone else (that she claims was only platonic...so, why did she spend more time with her than me? and when she did see me, spent time on the phone/computer with her? yeah, right!)
