Classic vitamin C deficiency symptom. Take a high potency multiple vitamin-mineral (with iron) daily, and also take vitamin C 500 mg with bioflavinoids 3 times daily til bruising problem is resolved; then take one vit c daily thereafter.
See a doctor if bruising persists in spite of this regimen for more than a couple of weeks.

Definitely see your doctor. but easy bruising may be a sign of iron deficiency like Anemia. Usually supplements work.

I'm agreeing on the whole iron-deficiancy thing. I would think the reason it is worse around your period is we girls lose a lot of iron at that time. Go to the doctor!
