I have recently moved away to college and now I bruise like crazy. My wrists are bruised from typing at my keyboard...my arms are bruised from my boyfriend touching them....my chest is bruised from my tote bag...my legs have random bruises. I have never had this before, why am I bruising like this now? (also I notice it the worst during my menstrual cycle)

Classic vitamin C deficiency symptom. Take a high potency multiple vitamin-mineral (with iron) daily, and also take vitamin C 500 mg with bioflavinoids 3 times daily til bruising problem is resolved; then take one vit c daily thereafter.
See a doctor if bruising persists in spite of this regimen for more than a couple of weeks.
Good luck!

I'm agreeing on the whole iron-deficiancy thing. I would think the reason it is worse around your period is we girls lose a lot of iron at that time. Go to the doctor!

You might want to call your doctor. It could be a sign of a more serious condition.
