I'd appreciate help from anyone. My brother has a PSP. Today, he noticed that the square button is sticking when he presses it down. Also, the power button is very stiff. I can turn it on and put it on hold, but it is not as smooth as it should be. All the other buttons work fine. We don't know what caused the problem.

I would help him, however, I dont know anything about hardware. Is this an easy fix or is he screwed?

its probably broken. wat I suggest is going to your nearest game store (Gamestop, EB Games) and saying you got a malfunctioning device. I'm sure they'll replace it.

god you particularly p.c. a psp huh? properly i might advise you to: a million) beg your mothers and fathers 2) get solid grades ( my mothers and fathers offered me psp reason I have been given no 60% in checklist card hehe I often fail ) 3) do newspaper delivery and save up funds to purchase psp yet do no longer thieve or deliver a hundred funds expenses because of the fact it would be truly unusual for ll year previous boy wearing all that funds. solid success oh one greater ingredient , psp is truly cool to have in spite of the undeniable fact that it dones't worth you to get in to reformatory .

i would severly not recommend trying to take it apart and anything damp could possibly harm it. for the square button, just try pushing it ALOT for a while and see if that helps
