I'm going to my cousin's wedding next week. It's going to be held at local country club at 5pm. I really don't know what to wear.
Plus I suppose to pick out a suit for my dad, too. But I cannot make any decisions. Please help!

5:00 pm weddings are amongst the most formal. Even though people have watered down dress standards, if you want to dress appropriately you should have on after five wear.
You are always safe with a black dress and rhinestones or dressy accessories, shoes, purse etc. The dress could be tea length (just above the ankle), mid calf or just below the knee. Of course there are other fabulous colors as well. But you can never go wrong with black and you cand dress it up or down.
Your dad should wear either a tuxedo or a black suit.
The wedding invitation may have indicated the level of dress. Also the formality of the wedding invitation may suggest the dressiness of the wedding even if they did not say.

It depends on how formal it is, there are some weddings that I've been to that a sundress worked and some where I had to wear a full length gown, ask the bride or groom what food they're serving if it's a buffet wear something casual, if it's caviar and lobster then you'll wanna dress up! I would suggest a cute coctail dress or a strapless dress. If it is formal wear white or black.. if not try a print or solid (fall color) or a color which you prefer. Wear heals and bring a cute matching clutch!..for your dad, you have to get him sized. just try and think what would look best on him and ask for his opinion before you buy it..* check macy's, nordstrom, lord & taylor ..for dresses =) hope that helped

Umm i think a strapless dress would be super hot..any color really (light or dark) cause it is in the evening... some hills ... for your dad you will have to go get him sized.. good luck

I'm wearing jeans and a sweater when I get hitched next fall. Unless it's warm, then I'll wear my Route 66 t-shirt and chanclas.
