That is a very interesting question. I have done every job and entered every profession at the time when I wanted to and they were like climbing a ladder. Once I thought all I wanted to be was a truck driver, Then later, A Truck Mechanic, Then an Aircraft worker, then A Marine, WWII. Then back to an Auto Mechanic, then a Television Tech. then a Research Tech. in the rocket industry, then a Research Engineer, Electronic Instrumentation development. Developing equipment to measure what goes on when a liquid Rocket engine fires. Takes 100 pickups placed around the Engine to measure everything. then A Teacher, Retired as a Professor of Electronics in 1997, but still teaching part time in the evening division at Pierce College. and loving it. I guess you would call that a successful life.
Second love is helping people achieve their goals.

These are in no apparent order because my priorities will definitely change over time:
1. Graduate high school in the to 5% of my class.
2. Get a good scholarship to a good college majoring in journalsim/communications.
3. Getting a job as a local news anchor and eventually a national news anchor -OR- get a job as a reporter and eventually obtain position of editor.
4. Be elected into any public office.
5. Travel the world.
6. Get married to the love of my life.
7. Have at least three kid
8. Make at least one million dollars.
9. Act in a major Hollywood film. (not necessarily as the lead)
10. Spread the word about environment and sponsor a plan to help prevent damage.
Some of these obviously won't happen if others do, and others probably won't happen at all. But, in my ideal world, I'd want to be able to accomplish at least some of these.
