I have a 2001 Dodge Neon. I noticed the other day that the low beam was out on the right side. So I bought a new bulb and had a friend install it. The low beam STILL doesn't work. What should we check next?

When you remove the plug from the headlamp, check the contacts for corrosion or rust. I had a '69 Plymouth that was a big loser in that department. I know the years are far apart, but Detroit is still Detroit. If you find some rust or corrosion then take a small flat blade screwdriver and put some light sandpaper on the blade. Work it in and out of the rusted/corroded contact. That should fix you right up.
