I HAVE A PROBLEM. MY BOY FRIEND AND I ARE HAVING A PRETTY GOOD RELATIONSHIP THAT I DON'T WANT TO RUIN. THERE IS ALSO THIS OTHER BOY THAT I'VE BEEN CRUSHING ON FOR ABOUT 8 YEARS NOW. HE ASKED ME OUT TODAY AND SAID THAT HE HAD BEEN CRUSHING ON ME FOR ABOUT 9 YEARS. I REALLY WANTED TO SAY YES AND I STARTED TO, BUT THEN I THOUGHT OF MY BOYFRIEND. THEY BOTH HAVE REALLY NICE PERSONALITIES AND THEY BOTH HAVE MY BACK. THEY SPOIL ME AND MY BOYFRIEND TELLS ME HE LOVES ME EVERYDAY. MY CRUSH SAYS THAT HE HAS GROWN TO LOVE ME AND HE CLAIMS TO BE MY BEST FRIEND, JUST LIKE MY BOYFRIEND. I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO GET HURT. WHAT SHOULD I DO AND WHO SHOULD I DATE?

well how long have you and your boyfriend been dating? that is always a factor.. i mean if your boyfriend doesn't treat you as nice than i would go for it. but if you haven't known this other guy then i would stick with your current boyfriend..

You need to decide what you want. You can't have it all. On the one hand, you have a nice boyfriend that you would like to keep, yet all the time you've been together you have dreamed of this other guy. Maybe it's time to step back from the boyfriend and go out with the other guy and see if it goes anywhere. If it does, great. If it doesn't, then you will have answered this question for yourself and put it behind you so you won't be "crushing" on him when you find someone else. Will it be possible for you to get back together with your current boyfriend if things don't work out with the "crush"? Maybe, but don't count on it. When you make your decision, think about what you will be giving up (either the relationship with the guy you have or the potential for a relationship with the other guy) and determine which one will be easier to live with.

Try the person that you really like , I think from your question it is
the other boy. Because if you was really satisfied with one you now have, you wouldn't be even having to ask. Give it a try because I guarantee you he would the one your with or maybe already has . If your not married then go you might find the love of your life, want hurt anything but don't tell the one your with, never confess because they'll through up to your face every time you have a disagreement. Go for it, lots of luck.

That's not true! The grass is sometimes greener on the other side. But as someone said once you burn a bridge, sometimes you can't build it back. It might be best to tell your boyfirend you need a little space and tell the other guy you would consider his offer. Then make up a list of pros and cons for each guy. But then, in your heart, you really do know which one is right.

if you were in a relationship with neither of them, and they both asked you out, who would you want to be with? IF it's the old crush, then your current relationship will end eventually anyway. and if it takes too long, the other guy might not wait for you and be off the market. If you would choose the guy you're dating, you have to tell your crush that although you're flattered, you love your boyfriend and would never leave him. IF he loves you and wants you to be happy, then he should respect that.

Well, I guess you're never really gonna know your answer until you go out with your crush. But if you go out with your crush, you better make sure it's worth leaving your good boyfriend behind.

If I were you, just keep talking to your crush casually, and eventually you'll see that he doesn't compare to your boyfriend. Your boyfriend sounds like he's really good to you, and you're lucky, cause guys like that are hard to come by.

If you were madly in love with your current boyfriend this would be an easy question to answer! You must follow your heart and the most important thing is to be honest with yourself and with these two men. Dont jump, take a deep breath and listen to your heart!

Girl, you better hurry up and figure this one out. Only you know your heart and where it lies. Take a leap and lose your bf, or stick it out and risk losing a true love. Make the right decision.

Your going to ask perfect strangers what you should do in your life. Come on.

You need to follow your heart. But remember, once you burn a bridge you can never go back.
