I'm always a little skeptical when I hear of any Hollywood remake. Especially a classic like Halloween. I guess Zombie's 2 other flicks made enough money for the Executives to green-light this project. For the most part, horror films are cheap to produce, so it doesn't take much to turn a profit. I have to admit I liked his 2 other films, but I wont go out of my way to see a Halloween remake. I'll wait for DVD.

Rob will make this movie good or die trying..He is or might be the best person to tackle this project as he loves horror movies and not all this new crap that is going on today that is almost drama and not horror at all other then the gore. He will do a good job on this film and bring it back to the origanl in some ways from what i read..

Totally. I mean what could he try to put across in his movie that wasn't said or done in the original. I'm telling you same story just someone elses own little finesse. It's so not worth watching.

Please tell me you're joking. You'd think he'd (of all people) have more respect for the genre.
People, it's not about whether or not his other movies are good, you just don't remake classics. It's wrong and should be outlawed!
