Both of their parents. Gets blood from the mom which gives iron to the developing child that will makes new red blood cells. Thus the mom should consume a considerable amount of iron when she's pregnant.

Blood is made of cells just like any other living tissue, and is created in the gestation process just like any other tissue.
Both parents contribute genes in reproduction.

The blood type comes from both the mother and father. Just like eye color, there are dominant and recessive traits.

babies have bone marrows which is the thing that makes blood.
