Your own questions answer themselves. People apply too much weight to these labels. When people are grouped or LABELED as white, black, eurasian, these are essentially incorrect classifications physiologically. Because as you just found out, most "white" people come in different shades or originate from different regions of the world. The same applies for every other race. By the commonly accepted standards of race classification used today (white, black, hispanic, asian, blah-blah), slant-eyed Bjork does not fit clearly in any of them, again, as do most light skinned blacks and blue-eyed latinos. I would argue that 90% of all the population of the world would not beautifully fit in any of these racial classifications--therefore these labels are of limited value to society.

My point is that believing very strongly in labels, racial or otherwise, is counterproductive and meaningless. It breeds ignorance and causes disunity. We are all human. Our differences reside in our belief systems, and not in our appearances or regional origins.

Presumably because she speaks, thinks, and creates in the Icelanic and English languages which despite her atypical racial ancestry makes her a modern Westerner. That's good enough for me.....

As for geography, there are hordes of third worlders of one sort or another who have been granted "citizenship" (ie, pieces of paper) by the "governments" (ie, overclass criminals) in many Western countries who have absolutely no, repeat NO business being in our homelands.
