If someone called you a goo;k, ******, cracker or whatever you are, how would you react to them? This girl came up to me because i was talking kinda loud and started calling me a ****. How would you respond if you were in school? (P.S. telling me to beat up someone isn't going to help. It's just gonna get me suspended)

Honey people are going to say stuff about you until you die. I know that this is kind of cliche' but you just have to turn the other check, kill them with kindness, don't get down to their level. I have people talk about me and call me out of my name just about everyday of my life but I'm not a ******, a b**** or any other name that they want to call me my name is Meyata and if you can't call me that, then don't call me at all

If I were a student, I'd tell a Teacher or Principal, if it were at a job, I would tell the Boss; it's the obligation of authority figures to make sure that all people are treated equally. If this were a random person in a random situation, I would just look at them calmly, refusing to become undignified, or perhaps say something like 'Oh, really', or 'Mm-hmm'. You respond politely but they know they haven't won.

As the lighter half of a racially diverse couple, I would highly encourage taking the higher road. Anyone who calls you a racially insensitive name is simply ignorant, and deserves your empathy more than your antipathy. There isn't much you can "do" about it, other than shrug and walk it off. Let the insult fall into the gutter where it belongs. Don't carry it with you, and don't own it.

I'm white and personally the term "cracker" is not offensive to me. Just ignore her and walk away. If you don't want to get in a fight thats the only thing you can do. Be the bigger person. She is just looking for trouble.

Honestly. Like, you have a right to be mad but don't let what they say get to you because you don't wanna hold grudges and it's just...it's not worth it. Really. It's not. Just you know, let it go annnnd just ignore it. As hard as that really is, it's the best thing you can do.

Why don't you tell a teacher or principal, or if you don't want to be called a snitch, let her know your feelings and if it happens again you will report her this way you can't be called a snitch as you already warned her.

I would tell them to Grow-up, and stop being such a neanderthal, ask them : What you going to do next, poke me with your stick and jump up and down beating you hands on your chest? then ask them do they need directions to the Zoo??.

Coldly raise your eyebrows, look her up and down, and say "b*tch, please", and then turn your back and walk away. The idea is to briefly tell her what you think of her behaviour, and then let her know that she is beneath you and not worth any mor of your time. You're not completely letting her get away with it, but you're not doing anything to get yourself in trouble either. If she says or does anything else, then she's the one who's going to get in trouble.

You could just try ignoring them because racists are ignorant people.
