What kind of tank? What do they eat? What will make them comfortable in a tank? I know they can be really social too so whats the best way to have a small one?

I've seen a few in stores for sale, they are neat, but I don't believe any of them stay very small. Probably need at least a 100-150 gallon tank minimum. The larger the tank the better. I do believe they are venomous also. And, it's not a species for a beginner, I'd say you'd need to be an expert in fish care IMO.

I would guess you would need somthing like the size of nice size pool! filled with a sandy like bottom as for the food ? I am not sure, because Sting rays can get some what Large!!!!!! And unless you get permits I dont even think you can keep them in a resedetal home!!!!!! You would have to talk consult a zoo or your local wild life foundation!

Steve Irwin. LMBO, no that was just mean. I would guess a very large tank, they eat small fish like minnows. I suggest asking your local aquarium staffers what they think of stingrays as pets... I never heard of keeping a stingray as a pet, and dont' think it's widely encouraged. However if they are social, you ought to have more than one unless you plan on living in the tank with it...

ooooooooo cool i want one! i saw a huge one for 80 bucks. Salt water tank, some small fish, give them a companion or another big fish, and make sure it dont sting
