I'd say a 2 laned highway so I wouldn't lose at the beginning of the game.

Not Highway 6 here in Texas (too many deaths just driving on it.) (oh and the girl that actually tried to do human frogger on it, yea, she's dead) You just really can't get to the mall from the theaters by walking, you have to drive.

Oklahoma State Highway 9-A - it runs from Bowlegs to Maud - there's almost no traffic, and what there is can be seen coming for miles. Only drawback is that nobody drives it within 20 MPH of the speed limit - ever - but hey, if you lose the game, you lose instantly !

I-79, preferably near Pittsburgh somewhere, definitely in the daylight. There's construction like 99% of the time, because of our crappy weather. So if it's bumper-to-bumper, it should be as easy as navigating through a couple lanes of parked cars.
