You might be feeling your uterus stretch, but if the cramps are really bad go see your doc. Especially if you have any spotting!
Good luck!

It may be as simple as you feel the baby growing inside of you. Your uterus stretches to accommodate it's new resident. I wouldn't worry unless their is spotting along with the cramping. No matter what a conversation with your doctor is always a good idea. This way they can give you advice on how best to elevate some of the cramping.

As long as those cramps aren't accompanied by bright red bleeding then you should be OK. Your uterus will cramp throughout pregnancy. also called braxton hicks. I experienced that same thing when I was pregnant with my second child. I was told to just take it easy and to keep off my feet whenever possible.
you will be OK, but I'd make an appointment or call and talk to my doctor just to be sure.

I'm 18 weeks prego, I think it could be constipation or if you are laying wrong at night. I have read a few books that say to lay on your left side and stop doing exersices on your back after 16 weeks. I hope I could help a little. You should call your doc anyway to let them know, they keep track in thier computers about what you call in for.

Cramping early and through out your pregnancy is normal. I had a lot of it with my son. Early on it's just your uterus and muscles stretching as your baby grows. Of course if there is ANY spotting involved, call your doctor immediately.

It's probably just normal cramping. If it is severe or you are bleeding see your doctor. And if you are worried about it call your doctors office. Part of prenatal care is them reassuring you that everything is ok. That's what your paying them for so don't hesitate to call them if you have questions. Good luck with your pregnancy.

Sounds like you are having Braxton Hicks contractions. It's not serious, but your doctor/midwife should know about it.
Though rare, Braxton Hicks can trigger real labor, you may need to go on bed rest for the remainder of your pregnancy.
Just be careful.

Sounds to me like you're stretching, which you will continue to do throughout your pregnancy, it's uncomfortable and quite frankly it sucks, but unless you experience bleeding, fever, or severe nausea with it I wouldn't worry too much. As for relief, you can take Tylenol or a warm bath with epsom salt to relieve the muscles. Good luck!

cramping can occur due to the added and steadily increasing weight on your abdominal muscles from your growing uterus. As you get further along those muscles will get lax, and will not be as uncomfortable. Hang in there. You have only just begun.
