Okay, girl, you need to learn HOW TO DO your math homework. You can't bring Yahoo! Answers to the test with you, you know! I suggest you get afterschool help if you don't understand it.

And besides that, you've got A LOT of wrong answers on here.

Prime nunbers are numbers that are only divisible by themselves and 1, like 1,2,3,5,7,11,13...

factor each number into primes.
8 is 2x2x2=2^3
12 is 3x2x2
20 is 5x2x2
the least common multiple must have each prime factor in it the most number of times that it is in any of these numbers
2x2x2 x3 x5 =120 is the LCM

120, = 8X15, 12X10, 20X6

4 is the lowest common demoninator of 8,12,20.

120 is the smallest number that is a multiple of 8, 12, and 20, so its a common multiple of them. I'm right, everyone else (except Grover) is wrong.
