I lost the person I thought was the love of my life and it was devastating. It took me two and a half years to get over- but what I realized is that the true love of my life was still out there, and she and I have been together 18 years now. I know it hurts man, and it is just going to completely suck for a while, but you will heal and be ok again. As far as mid terms go, all you can do is your best- try and focus and give it your best shot. You are in a tough place right now.

You need to learn how to focus. Get over it and on with your life. You are the only one who can change your thought process. You have more important things right now, and that is studying. There are many fish in the sea...and you will once again find the love of your life.
