I don't know the most answers I've gotten was like 33 or 34. I don't know what you have to ask to get a ton of answers. I can't tell you what Yahoo will accept or not. I know that they are deleting questions that lead to chatting.

I hate a lot of answers hard to choose. The ones that usually trigger a lot of responses are the ones that don't require TOO MUCH THINKING.
