its a film about two youths who are travelling on an American highway,they connect a cb up and start winding a trucker up by pretending to be a girl interested in the trucker,he then starts tracing and following them with gruesome results.

Joy Ride is a 2001 thriller film directed by John Dahl and starring Paul Walker, Leelee Sobieski and Steve Zahn. It was written by Clay Tarver and J.J. Abrams. In Australia and the UK it was marketed as Roadkill.
The film concerns a young college student driving across the country to pick up his high school sweetheart. Unfortunately, after picking up his raucous-spirited older brother along the way, they soon get on the bad side of a psychotic truck driver after taunting him over a CB radio. The driver hunts them down in similar vein to the film Duel (1971).
