Eh they are difference to the norm therefore people perceive them as weird but its a phase for some people although some people do never really grow out of it and in that case it can be pretty weird. Its just another way or expressing themselves which is fine as long as nobody is hurt and their expression is passive.

No they are normal like anyone else, like me for instance, i get called a goth all the time, its just a sterotype, But if you want to get into steotypes they are so not weird.

no i dont think they are "weird" they are just diffrent.
i could ask you "do you think people that like rap music are stupid? " and you would say no because there is a large group of people that like rap music just like there is a large group of emos goths and rockers. we humans like to label things. we have been doing it since adam and eve. so therefore you labeled "goths" as "weird". when other people dont think so. its an opinion.

Of course their weird
1.they only communicate between themselves
2.they only wear black and chains
3.they only listen to music that they can understand the lyrics
4.they travel in groups around my school converting people to the darkside
I know they are trying to be free willed from other people and I repect that(I do the same thing) but they still bother me and most people.

It's not my favorite style but they're just different, that's all. They probably think that jocks or preps are weird too.
Everyone has their own style and preferences. It makes things more interesting!
