I married in a church and I was called goth all HS and most my "goth" freinds married in churches, though my one prep freind married in a feild. I think outside is nice and comfortable so why not?

I didn't know they did, and being a Goth myself, I am rather surprised.
However, Pagans like to marry (or rather, handfast) in fields, because Paganism is a nature religion, and we are more at home in the open air, away from all the concrete. There is a large Pagan/Goth crossover, so logically, the Goths that like to marry in fields are Pagan.

Its not just Goths, there are a whole range of people who like to marry in fields, it maybe because of what they believe in I.E they don't exactly believe in God so they have like a Wiccan/Celtic/Pagan type cermony which is a lot less religious but brings the couple together in the same way

I've been a wedding consultant for several gothic weddings, and none of them were in a field. I guess the ones that do get married in a field do it for the reason non-goths do: they love nature.

Well, who wouldn't? It's beautiful, comfortable, clean and natural. And who said all goths get married in fields? I thought the majority preferred cathedrals, gothic buildings, places with signifigance to them, ect.
