No way to do that UNLESS you do go through the Social Security Department . Of course, if you do change your SSN without going through them, SOMEONE ELSE will collect your Social Security payments when you retire.

The Social Security Dept. is the one who assigns numbers. Is no reason to change your number and if is a "legal" reason to do it they are the one who know. I suspect you are going around the bushes to do something illegal

you can forge a ss card and # but I wouldn't advise it.
