NO..norton does not give u viruses...NORTON is sometimes worse then a virus to remove from a computer....they have a special norton tool remover from majorgeeks just to remove norton.....i do not like norton whatsoever....i would refuse to install it on any pc...i would avg free before i used norton...if u are talking about the aol active shield...it is better then norton and avg...i also do not use aol..but the new virus scanner they came out with is powered by kaspersky...not mcafee...kaspersky is number 1...

No but it does have some proprietary code that other anti-virus' find to be a virus or that it acts like one to their software. This has been a problem for years. Avast might find Norton or McAfee to be a "virus" or the other way around. You should run one at a time or find 2 or more that are compatible

Ihad norton for a year and within that year I got 3 virus on my PC.Since I got rid of norton I havent had any

Now i hate Norton Anti-Virus i deleted everything to get instead the free trial now my PC is all mess up. McAfee is way better to have.

Of course not!! Whoever told you that is pullng your leg! Norton AV protects your computer from viruses as long as you keep it updated regularly.
