All things considered, is the internet a good thing or a bad thing?

Why?

Because people used the new presses to print and distribute information that the government and religious authorities didn't like. In some countries, owning a printing press was a crime punishable by death.

How good the internet is depends on how people utilise it. If you say visit adult websites than it's bad. If you do any inappropriate things it's bad but if u just use it for research and some games than kudos! i think it's neither, just there.
