In RPG, they're easier to kill if they're slow & shuffling. But after RE4, I'm surely liking the challenge of ones that are faster & know how to use weapons. Now *that's* a challenge.
However, if I were to meet them in RL, I'd surely vote for the slower & the dumber. That'd work better for me since I'd want to live through the horror.

do you wanna know which one is scariest or what? if so i think running zombies are more scary, cause they can catch you.

the running ones r scarier whenthere's room to run away
if there's no room to run away and the victim is cornered then a slow one is scarier
