ok im turning 13 and my mom is making my pick between a cell phone ( idont have one) or a party at a skatin place and the party would be private party...help me!!

Take the party, then hopefully people will bring you cash and you can buy your own phone.

I would definitely go for the private party. From experience, material goods, such as cell phones, are never satisfying, but spending real quality time with your best chums to celebrate this grand day is everlasting. You'll always remember and appreciate the good times you had with your friends, and I don't think it would be the same with just a cell phone. Trust me!

Well the party is only for a moment and the phone is your to keep using. I'd go with the phone. More parties will come after all your only 13.

I'd go with the party. You can always save up and get a prepaid cell phone later on.

A skating party lasts, what, 3 hrs? & your friends won't spend all that much on gifts or give you much cash. Both you & your friends will forget the party pretty quickly.
Go for the phone, you'll enjoy it a lot longer

definitely a cell phone, cause once ur party is over u will have nothing but the memories, but the cell phone will last a loong time

Go for the party,you only become a teenager once,so you might as well celebrate in style.You never know,you might get a little cash in your birthday cards to help you along with buying your Mobile phone.either way I hope your birthday is a blast.
