Invest in a really good planner. Also, get a wall calendar so that you always know what you have due. There's also a Microsoft Word calendar that you can use on your computer, where you can write assigments, birthdays, etc. Another thing, get everything done the night before. Don't rush in the morning trying to do homework or ironing. And make sure, that at the end of the school day, you check off a list of homework and make sure that you have the corresponding textbooks. Good luck!

Purchase a monthly planner (about $10)
Carry it with you all the time (all the time)
Each time you get a new assignment, write it in your planner in at least two places - on the day you receive the assignment and on the day it is due. If it is a long-range project, then I'd note it in a third place - about halfway in the middle.
Track appointments, tasks and events the same way.
Check your planner every morning and every evening. Always note what you have coming up the next day.
Check off assignments when completed.
If you have a problem remembering phone numbers, write key ones down in your planner.
Good luck in HS!

Make sure you have a separate notebook for every subject for easy reviews and for jotting down assignments. During free time you can go over your notes and see what assignments you can do to lessen your work at night. Having a planner to lists down all the things that you need to do for a day would also be a great help. If you have no planner, a small notebook can do. If your cellualr phone have a reminder that would also help to remind you.

this is what I do. Get my stuff ready the night before, put the books I'll be using the folling day into my bag, getting my clothing ready that same night. It be best if you get a calendar, write down what work is due when, what I ussually do is for example: I have an assignment due on 10/17 so I go to my calendar or bulletin board or notebook(wich you can purchase where ever supplies are sold like wal-mart cvs walgreen etc.) I put "ASSIGNMENT DUE FOR HISTORY CLASS -WRITE AN ESSAY OF DEMOGRAPHICS- 600WORDS LONG- DUE 10/16" always write it a day before its really due, it works for me, I get so jumpy when I think its due a certain day. Like that I'll have it done on time and don't worry as much the next day.

Like others said use a Planner, and use it for everything, take it at all times with you, also buy one of does hudge calenders that you can hang up on you bedroom wall, there you write everything you have to do. Also in class when the teacher gives you a paper, instead of using does folders most students buy, buy a binder, a big one for each subject, it makes it so much easier. You think H.S. is bad, wait till you hitt college

I see some of the older kids doing this in my hs. They keep a small dry erase board in their locker to put reminders on such as their assignments. You can also keep an assignment book and a reminder board in your room at home. Also try to be organized with your papers by getting something like an 8 pocket folder

I suggest a planner to write everything down in. When you get an assignment write down, and when you finish with the assignment cross it out or check it off so you know it is done.
As far as books and supplies are concerned, you could always keep everything in one place in your bedroom so you know where it is when you need to pack up your stuff for each day.
You'll figure out the swing of things and what works out the best for you!

Hmm...it only gets worse with age =( I'm 25 and I still have to write notes on my hand. Since you're in school, I'm sure you have access to paper and pens...keep a "note" book - reminding you of what you need to accomplish. You might actually want to invest in a Day Planner (like a notebook calendar).
Keep it on hand and write down anything that might be important.
If your teachers allow it, you could record classes...that helped some in college.

Keep an agenda/day organizer and write things down as soon as they are assigned, include the due date, class and other information you need. Don't be afraid to ask for help from your teachers.
