already tried ringing virgin and was told turn it off n back again - no help

Ring them back. There a pain up the a**e when there is a fault. I am with virgin and no problems. It might be an area problem, which they should be aware of.

my orange pay as you go is the same at the moment...
maybe there is something up with the text lines at the mo?

yes - try deleting all the txts on your phone it may be blocking new ones.

Me too, not receiving texts or only part texts. Thats why they are only 3p....rubbish
