I recently took an RCA/TRC position and my post master says you must pay for your own gas-plus i must drive my own car to deliver the mail.... this is a us government job. Is she lieing to me?

I think it is true. I have seen many rural carriers driving their own car. They don't wear uniform either.

USPS is sort of a government job but different than all other federal jobs. They are not lieing to you
