Oh no... here she goes over the whole "dysfunctional" thing again. Next thing you know is that she'll be saying that midgets have huge "members" again.

I agree with the bumper sticker. I'm sick and tired of criminals using their dysfunctional family as an "excuse" to rob, rape, kill, sell drugs or whatever. There are just as many people with rotten childhoods who grew up to be productive citizens but you don't see them crying about it or making excuses.

Child protective services social workers make up these rules like "you can't have dirty dishes in the sink and be a good mother" or "you have to put out your trash daily" and, while some rules are good rules, others are just arbitrary standards or them trying to make you be like their family.

It's getting to be that "normal" is whatever the judge says is "normal" or "alright."

OH these days "normal" does not exist. There is no normal. We are all different and weird to everybody else. If there was a normal person, then they would be weird to the non-normal people, in that case that would make them not normal, it would make them wierd. Oh i could go on all day about normal and not normal, but I have other questions to answer.

I remember reading where 85% of families are "dysfunctional."

So, being normal is abnormal!

Agree. And the definition of "normal" is not actually associated with that of the definition of "dysfunctional"............

I couldn't agree more. Every time someone asks me if that's "normal", I reply "comparerd to what", because to me, normal is not something I can measure against, I do not know what it represents!
