Yes and when someone asks him a question that puts him a difficult situation he just slings insults and repeats something that he said earlier instead of answering the question... why cant he just shut up and answer the question like an intelligent person?

How interesting that you would say that. The president is a servant of the people, all of the people...educated and uneducated alike. He doesn't speak as though his audience are children, he does speak using every day terms. I, for one, appreciate his relatability as opposed to the bunch of $5 words for a 10 cent message that most politicians deliver. It is a historical fact that people prefer their leader to project intelligence and confidence. Just because someone is not a master orator does not mean that they do not possess both those qualities.

It's the only way he can understand himself. His IQ is after-all below average. *sigh* Clinton had a genius-level IQ and we bothered him with a sex-scandal. I guess the fact that we wanted to impeach Clinton for that warrants the necessity to speak to us as children.

The average person is working long hours, has family commitments, is busy with church, hobbies, etc. Attention span is maxed out. Besides, the average person knows very little about how our government is ran and what it takes to actually be the President.
I for one prefer small words after a long day and I even understand the concept.

Because he's usually answering liberal reporter questions, and for them, you do need to speak like you are speaking to children.

Yeah it is pretty annoying. He talks like he is above most everybody else and makes it seem like everything he does is obviously the correct thing to do.
