Schools that allow Internet connection have no right to block what sites you visit. You might try someone associated with the student rights section of the ACLU. In the mean time a web search - from home - on blocker defeating sites might be a good use of your time.

a lot of places block myspace because it's a major distraction. too many people are obsessed with it. as for looking for a new proxy site, all you have to do is google-search web proxy. but my advice to you... do your myspacing at home. pay attention in school because believe it or not, your education is more important than your social life right now.

Well, what do you know....shock horror.....you might get an education at school rather than go on some stupid website.

Hey, why don't you try and get excluded from school for trying to unblock the school's server....then you can be on that stupid site 24/7 at home and have no career prospects for the future.

Your student council needs to complain about this. My high school banned vibe.com, but allowed rollingstone.com. They banned Victoria Secret and a whole bunch of other sites. They need to stop treating kids like morons. Maybe they could have some kind of Internet forum where they discuss WHY certain sites are banned or something.

I am glad they blocked it. Schools are for learning and not for playing on the computer all day long and chatten or e-mailen!!!
If schools allow all this, no wonder that there are so many dumb people in the world.

i think ya. i'm in highschool and that i had the superb of pals, till all that mattered replaced into 'acceptance.' basically attempt to hunt for brand spanking new pals. there isn't any longer plenty you're able to do different than stick by using it, substitute into greater constructive pals w/ the folk on your training. i found greater constructive pals who do no longer care approximately all that crap and that i've got a boyfriend, he facilitates plenty. basically circulate to college and do the superb you could till you're out of there. Sorry that's no longer the superb, choose i could grant greater. solid success! :)

You are at school to learn, not mess around on myspace.
