seriously, dont go!

go to somewhere where the people respect people and dont treat you like shite, and where they dont lock you up for months for NOTHING, without a trial date or a court hearing!

Accommodation in Dubai is not very cheap. The price is depending on what type of facilities you are expecting. Visit http://www.thatsdubai.com/dubai-accommodation.html for some guidelines and details of cheap hotels.

Staying in an apartment for a shoter period is not a very good choice. However, it will be a good option if you are travelling with a large family or a group.

Both are very expensive. I am planning to move there and I cant believe the prices. Try www.dubaipropertylistings.com or the web site for the Gulf news for short term and vacation rentals.

I've done both. the Hotel (Jebel Ali) was fantastic but not cheap. The apartment was fine but we had a few problems with taxi's not always wanting to take us there.
