Well, technically the 7 Wonders of the World were basically the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, meaning the empires around the Mediterranean.

They were:

The Colossus of Rhodes
The Lighthouse of Alexandria
The Hanging Gardens and Walls of Babylon
The Great Pyramids
Statue of Zeus
Mausoleum of Halicarnassus
Temple of Artemis.

They probably would have put things like Stonehenge and the Great Wall on the list if they had known about them, but the list was created by people in the Mediterranean world.

There's a few different "7 Wonders" list. The wonders they want to change are the "7 Wonders of the Ancient World". Personally, I don't think they should change them..that's why they're wonders of the ANCIENT world. I think there's archeological wonders and natural wonders, too. The Great Wall and Mt. Rushmore might be on those lists.

Partly wrong. The great wall of China is considered one of the seven wonders but Mt. Rushmore is not;

well think about it for a second. 7 wonders of the world. why are they called wonders? because no one knows how they where built. or didn't know how they where built when they where put on the list.
everyone knows how mt rushmore and great wall of china where built. and why, so there isn't really much to wonder about huh?

6 of the 7 wonders no longer exist, they were destroyed by fire or earthquake. The only remaining one is the Great Pyramid at Ghiza. But a new list has been proposed, and you can vote for the new 7.

You're wrong. The original seven wonders of the world are all gone, except for the pyramids. I assume you've been reading the news about a "new list" of 7 wonders, including Stonehenge. If not, here it is.

Well, the old list certainly does not have them and they have yet to make an official new list.

The new list should have these as one of the 7 wonders.
