Read "What your doctor may not tell you about menopause". Then you can decide once you have some information to consider. Good luck

I'm an RN but you have not shared enough information about yourself for anyone here to give you a reliable answer. One would need to know your your age, your specific hormone levels, details of a physical examination, menstrual history, etc. Yes there are other reasons besides menopause that could explain your symptoms and should be ruled out. If you do not have faith in your physician's opinion and advice then a second opinion from a Gynecologist specializing in menopause concerns might be helpful. Good luck to you. Just follow your heart until your menopause concerns are resolved . You definitely have that right.

This is more of a general answer, but it should fit: If your doctor has not satisfactorily addressed your concerns you need to insist that s/he does. That's his/her job. You do not need to be confrontational about it, but be honest that you still have concerns and what can s/he tell you the allay those concerns.

Yes, but I assume he did some blood work on you and found that your hormone levels are fine. That is how they can tell.
