The Beatles used a Moog modular synthesizer on Abbey Road. That, I think is the first instance of one being use on a rock record.
The first "popular" recording with a synthesizer would probably be the Switched on Bach album by Wendy (or, Walter - it's a long story) Carlos, it features Bach's music as performed on the moog modular synthesizer.

The first use of a Moog synthesizer on a pop record was accredited to a band called Chicory Tip with a pathetic song tilled "Son of my father" way back in 1972. Originally performed by Giogio Moroda

Micky Dolenz of The Monkees bought one of the first three Moog synthesizers and the first commercial release to feature a Moog synthesizer was The Monkees' fourth album, Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, & Jones, Ltd., in 1967, which also became the first album featuring a synthesizer to hit No'1 on the charts

It may have been The Beatles on Abbey Road - George Harrison was one of the first Moog users. It wasn't The Beach Boys on Good Vibrations - that was a Theremin!

while you're very new to creating track, then i assume you need to bypass with FL Studio! although, in case you opt for a greater professional sound like Owl city, then i opt for to advise Cubase, Ableton, or Sonar. Owl city makes use of distinctive DAWs and VSTs so i'm not thoroughly optimistic what precisely he makes use of. although, i know he makes use of a MicroKorg Keyboard and that i believe Melodyne for the pitch correction.

The very first band to use a synthesizer (it was a Moog) was Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, on their debut album in 1970.
