i know of 3 pals who have done the same as CbopXB friends did and they never spoke a word of Czech or any other language, and they are doing ok,and Prague/praha is very nice i have travelled there many times with my work,,so i would give IT a go,the pay will not be so good as the national average is still only the equivalent of about a 100 quid a week if that,,but the cost of living is still very low so grub and accommodation is very low too,,

I lived in Prague for 2 months after I graduated from college with a degree in Economics and Marketing. It was very difficult for me to find a job there. I did teach english for a little while, but without the certification the pay is pretty low. However, I did have a great time while I was there; the people are fun, most speak english, and the city is fantastic. I recommend the trip and suggest not leaving before you obtain a job if you plan on being there for an extended period of time. My thought was that once I was there and could go to job interviews it would be easier to find a job. Couldn't find a job, ran out of money, came back to the states.

Two of my friends went to the Czech Republic and found jobs teaching English. You have to get certified though by going to classes and getting your TEFL. Then when you get certified, that is when you start making money. At first it might be a little slow, but after it will get better and start making more $. One of the girls is now working for James Cook Languages. You might want to check that out. She loves it and is enjoying herself in Prague.

Why on earth do you want to make such a retrograde move ??
If you wish to move then at least go to an English speaking nation.

It depends on what skills you have.
It will be difficult to get a well paid job anywhere without skills.
It depends on how valuable your skills are.
I would think it would be difficult to get a 'well paid' job.
