Dismantling a laptop is no easy task, because no two are alike. There is not one way of doing it. One Dell model can be different from another Dell and one HP model can be a lot different from another HP.
They can also be very difficult to put back together.
Bottom line. DON'T DO IT.

Why would you want to do this? If it is under warenty, contact the company where you got it. If it is still under warenty, dismantling it will void the warenty. If the warenty has expired, bring it to a repair shop, they know what they are doing (obviously you don't). If you take it apart, you will never get it back together the right way. If you really want to take it apart though, there are little screws on the bottem usually.
