The catch... there is no satelite!! Which means no internet and no satelite TV!!
If you pick the TV... you may only keep your DVD player and surround-sound speakers of your choice!
If you pick the PC... you may only keep any printer of your choice and bad quality speakers. (And of course the basics like the CD-rom, keyboard, mouse etc.)

Okay, the most important part of your answer is WHY??????

Well to me a computer is totally useless without the Internet service so I'll vote for the TV. I can still get regular channels with my rabbit ears and I can still watch movies with my DVD player. I didn't have a computer and Internet service until June anyway. We live out in the country and unless you have a huge dish you can't get cable anyway so I survived with just my TV and rabbit years for ages.

TV!!!!! ^o^ OK, I can go quite a while without PC ( try over 2 months! ) and I learned that I don't need the PC as much as I thought I did! TV is a different story.....I love watching TV on my bed with a bowl of ice cream with caramel and snuggling up with my blanket! It's so relaxing to me....and if I fall asleep, I'm already in bed! ^o^ Anyways, while I'm watching TV, i may also draw between commercials, making fun of what I see! ^.^ That's why I would choose TV! Bye! ^.^

I choose the Computer... why?

I would fashion the different peicies of the computer into weapons, and then use them to attack my neighbor who has a nice *** house with a huge HDTV and entertainment system, and several badass computers, and cars.

I would attack in the night, using the sweet smell of the thermal cooling gel on the processor to lure my neighbors dog where I would hop on his back and choke him with the speaker wire from the bad quality speakers.

I would then sneak into the house using shards of mother board to pick the locks where I would then spring upon my neighbor and his roomate, restraining them with the wires from the mouse and keyboard. And then I would slowly and painfully kill them, by blugeoning them with the keyboard.

Yeah so computer all the way, LOL.

Couldn't you just play your DVDs on your computer? So the only thing you lose is the speakers. But I would get headphones.

I'm a graphic designer who loves watching movies on DVD. You're killing me ...GOOD thing I own a MAC, which isn't a PC, and just found the loophole to your question.
