you need to think if you have changed your diet in any way........if you havent , then you might just want to start drinking more water and lay off of caffeinated beverages.

Increase your fruits and veggie--don't forget the 5- a- day rule. Increase your fluid intake also.

Drinking hot liquids can help with getting things started or take some MOM(milk of magnesia).

Habitual use of laxatives is not good but occasional use is OK.

If you start a pattern of loose then hard BMs then see your MD.

Perhaps you need more fruit in your diet.. pectin is an important item to include with your meals. Hard stools or constipation is usually the result of not being able to handle the protein factor of your food...may want to consider papaya or enzyme assistance for that.

First of all, I'm a Mom so maybe that will give me some added credibility ... drink more water for starters and eat some pears. They will likely loosen things up again. Good luck!

If you are concerned about any medical condition it is in your best interest to consult with your physician.

While many people may have had a simliar medical experience most are NOT trained to answer your concerns with the degree of accuracy needed for your peace of mind.

While you may not want to spend the money for an office visit please remember you are one of God's unique creations and He wants you to have the best life you can have. Please consult your family phyician and follow your doctor's advice.

GOOD LUCK!

Go buy some stool softener. Phillips makes some in pill form so you don't have to deal with that awful liquid stuff.
