The first running back in the history of the NFL to have 36 carries for only 56 yards. No wonder the Colts didn't give him all the money he wanted!!

Uhh, love the name there nuke lefties, but Payton and Sanders usualy had no holes at all, they had to make them themselves.Untill the last couple years he played, Payton WAS the bears offense.

Of course he's not proud, but he's a competitor, and believe me, he earned every single yard, as the Bears have an awesome run defense. Arizona has a poor line when it comes to run blocking, so it's not all his fault. He did just fine in Indy, as they have a great line. He'd still be putting up huge numbers if he were a Colt, but management at Indinapolis knew they could draft a back that would produce on a similar level as Edge.

This questions shows your complete lack of understanding of the game. Without holes to run through backs can't do anything. Give me Jim Brown, OJ Simpson, Barry Sanders, Emmit Smith, Walter Payton, Gale Sayers or anyone and that offensive line and they'd do the same thing.

Hmmm, do you think he is proud? Not only did he break the record, the lack of a running game probably his team the game. You can't run out the clock very well if you can't run the ball.

i normally don't watch pro football, and after seeing the spectacular performance put on by AZ, i'll stay away for sure!

james is a LOSER! how can you accept a whopping paycheck and not protect the football? i don't care that he averaged a mind-blowing 1.5 yards per carry. i just want to know how he fumbled the ball deep in their own territory?

That's mostly b/c he's with the Cardinals now and doesnt have the O-Line he did with Indy...He can't do the job all by himself...he needs a decent team surrounding him....

I dont think he really cares about that record he broke last night as much as he cares about letting Urlacher strip that ball I can guarantee that bro.
