Well, let's go through the big ones:
1. War for Independence--French, Dutch, and Spanish allies.
2. War of 1812--no allies, but no clear victory either.
3. Mexican War--no allies; significant USA victory leading to massive land transfer.
4. Civil War--all American.
5. Spanish-American War--USA joins a pre-existing rebellion against Spanish rule in Cuba and in the Phillipines.
6. World War I--USA joins war relatively late; many Allied nations.
7. World War II--USA joins war in 1941; numerous Allies.
8. Korean War--USA allied with South Korea. No victory for either side.
9. Viet Nam War--USA allied with South Vietnam. Other allies were South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and a few more. South Korea provided the second largest group of non-Vietnamese soldiers. War ends with defeat of South Viet Nam--no USA victory.
So, "How many wars has America fought and how many has it won without foreign help?"
I count 1 out of the big 8 foreign wars: the Mexican war. If we count the Civil War, which was not a foreign war, 2.

That's a difficult question to answer. We haven't bothered to declare "WAR" since WWII. Its not really right, since we've been to war many times since then. I would classify the following as wars we've fought: 1. Korea (undecided) Basically we won, but we still have a cease-fire 2. Vietnam (lost) 3. Granada (won) 4. Panama (won) 5. Persian Gulf I (won) 6. Somalia (lost) 7. Persian Gulf II (won) 8. Afghanistan (losing) You might question some of these because of such short duration or limited deployment, but just because a war is won quickly or with only a small portion of the military, makes it no less "WAR". Israel fought the "6-day war". We call that a war and it didn't even last a week. Foreign help has never really been a factor in whether or not we won a war. We are our own worst enemy when it comes to winning. Foreign help just makes it look more legitimate and appears to show solidarity. Only Great Britain ever gives us any sizable help. Maybe Australia and Canada as well.

It has fought too many and most of them badly. Almost all of them have required some sort of help from another country.
They can't justify war unless someone else is holding their hand.
Even then they shoot friendly troops or unarmed journalists, they managed to kill about 10 British marines in an armoured column during the first Gulf war, which was more than the Iraqis managed. The Apache pilot said he thought they were the enemy, since when has the enemy had Union Jacks all over their tanks
Bunch of John Wayne style, shoot first, ask questions later twats
Cant wait until some country really kicks ther a**
God be with all our troops and civilians that the American troops have killed, its an American war over oil, so let them deal with it, why should we waste the lives of our soldiers so that the Americans can continue polluting the world with their cars and factorys

the fact is that the united states doesn't need any foreign help at any war they have fought, but it has all ways been other countries that have called for military aid from the USA, all the wars they have fought has also been done alone. e.g. in Vietnam, the British and french supported the USA but they weren't affective in any way. they just supported the idea, USA could have carried on the war with out their support. its just political support not any other form. since USA have always been one of the worlds supper powers even from the beginning of its creation they have never called for help from other countries because the never needed it. although during the war with Britain they did call for help from the french which they got. apart from that the have always been strong enough to defend themselves.
