Nothing to be scared of :) Some children have teeth when they are born. Just hope your baby doesn't bite you too hard when you are breastfeeding :)

Don't be scared. Like the first person said, some babies are born with teeth. Just make sure you take good care of those teeth, use a soft cloth and clean them with water. Baby's who are born with or get their first teeth early tend to lose them earlier than most kids. But when the time comes you want a good mouth structure and foundation for his new teeth, that's why taking good care of his baby teeth are so important.

When you say, 'What can I give him?' I'm assuming he's sharing with you how painful new teeth are, huh? Poor baby! I felt SO sorry for my babies when they had to go through that. They have infant 'numb' stuff, but my mind is blank at the moment what it is called. However, your local pharmacist will have that answer for you or better yet - ask your Gyn (doctor)! Just be there for LOTS of love and understanding because those poor babies do NOT understand WHY they have pain and YOU won't (they think you won't) make it go away! Stay strong!!

You mean what can you give him for teething discomfort?
Hyland's Teething Tablets are great. Don't worry about choking.....they dissolve instantly and are pretty tiny.
A metal spoon that's been kept in the freezer or a cold, hard stalk of celery are great to chew on. Or freeze a wet washcloth or tie an ice cube up inside a baby sock for him to chew on.

Nothing to be scared of. It's great! Just One of the milestones that babies go through. Hes just getting them a little early. You can give him a teething ring to hold and bite on. They sell them at the stores. Sometimes babies like them cold. One of my friends suggested to put it in the refridgerator and then give it to them if their teeth are bothering them. The cold may help their little gums.

Why are you scared? My daughter had her bottom teeth at that age and was working on getting her top ones through.
I gave Calpol, and Bonjela to ease the pain, but with those first teeth, I didn't even know they were coming through until she bit my partner.
Don't stress about it, sweetie!

Calm down first. There have been babies BORN with teeth! Give him a cold teething ring and baby tylenol. Let his pediatrician know of your concern. But everything is fine.

Two teeth at that age is fairly normal. You can give your little one Baby Orajel or Tylenol, though, and that should minimize the pain.

You mean In terms of medicine? If they are showing, then they shouldn't be hurting anymore. It's only when they are erupted that they are painful.
But if his or her behavior leads you to believe he/she is in pain, tylenol has always worked for us. Call your pediatrician for dosage, though. It won't take much and too much is bad for his/her liver. (Or your pediatrician may advise against it, I don't know.)
